Hello, From july to november (this year), I gained 110.000 backlinks. Considering that I'm having trouble ranking well for any keyword in my niche (a niche that I was ranking #1 for several keywords and now I'm losing), I'm starting to believe that negative seo is affecting me. I already read several articles about negative seo, some telling this is a myth, others telling that negative SEO is alive and kicking... My site is about health and fitness in brazilian-portuguese language, and there's polish/chinese/english with warez/viagra/others drugs pointing to my domain and a massive links in comments with blogs without comment approval. Considering that all these new backlinks are not on my language and are clearly irrelevant, can I disavow them without fear of affecting my SEO even more ? Everytime you see someone talking about the disavow tool, is always the same warning: "cautiong when disavowing a link, you can hurt you site even more, removing a link that - in some way - was helping you". Is there a way to see a history of the "links to your site"?  I've seen a lot of posts here from people say "I just saw a big drop in my numbers."  I don't look at this number enough to be that familiar with it.  Is there a way to see if Google has suddenly chopped our numbers?  I've poked around a little, but not found a method yet. Hi, My site is throwing thousands of 302 redirect warnings on crawl for the add to cart process in my Wordpress/Jigshop online store. A sample url the crawl references is: | | https://morrowsnuts.com/product/the-best-of-the-best-8-oz/?add-to-cart=6117&_n=9773652185 | | I have read several other threads here that are similar in nature but haven't discovered a way to eliminate this. I am a store owner and with only partial technology skills and I don't know what to try next. I posted the problem with Jigoshop but I am not sure if they will provide a solution since this was the first time they heard of this. I have been doing a bunch of 301 redirects on my site to address 404 pages and in each case I check the redirect to make sure it works.  I have also been using tools like Xenu to make sure that I'm not linking to 404 or 301 content from my site.  However on Friday I started getting "Not Followed" errors in GWT.  When I check the URL that they tell me provided the error it seems to redirect correctly.  One example is this... http://www.mybinding.com/.sc/ms/dd/ee/48738/Astrobrights-Pulsar-Pink-10-x-13-65lb-Cover-50pk I tried a redirect tracer and it reports the redirect correctly.  Fetch as googlebot returns the correct page.  Fetch as bing bot in the new bing webmaster tools shows that it redirects to the correct page but there is a small note that says "Status: Redirection limit reached".  I see this on all of the redirects that I check in the bing webmaster portal. Do I have something misconfigured.  Can anyone give me a hint on how to troubleshoot this type of issue. Thanks, Jeff

I've made a number of on page html markup changes to optimise the page for steel suppliers steel stockholders but I'd like to know if there are any other on page improvments I could make for this page http://www.barrettsteel.com/ Im particulary concerned that contnet in in li tags and not p, could this be an issue? And finaaly on the home page a third party developer has slapped a header banner pointing to an external site know as woodberry tools, that cant be good can it? Any insights welcome 🙂

Our rankings just plummeted on Tuesday across the board.  There was a DDOS attack on Tuesday and since then the rankings went down and have stayed down, even though the DDOS attack has been resolved.   Also, this is the 3rd or 4th attack they've encountered this year. How long could this last?  How can we deal with this? Thanks

I'm being docked for too many on page links on every page on the site, and I believe it is because the drop down nav has about 130 links in it. It's because we have a few levels of dropdowns, so you can get to any page from the main page.  The site is here - http://www.ibethel.org/ Is what I'm doing just a bad practice and the dropdowns shouldn't give as much information? Or is there something different I should do with the links? Maybe a no-follow on the last tier of dropdown?

Hello, My site URL is http://bit.ly/161NeE and our site was ranked first page for over hundred keywords before March, 30. But all of a sudden, all the keywords on first page dropped to 5th or 6th page. When we search for our site name without ".com", the results appeared on first page are all from other sites. And our page can only be seen on 6th page. We think we have been penalized by Google. But we don't know the exact reason. Can anyone please help? Some extra info on our site: 1. We have been building links by posting blog, articles and PR. All the articles are unique, written by the writers we hire. It has been working fine all the time. We also varied the anchor text a lot. 2. We didn't make any change to the website. But one real problem with our site is that the server is very slow recently and when google crawl our website, many errors were found, mostly 503, 404 errors. And the total number of errors have reach to over 50,000. Do you think this might be a problem for Google not displaying us on first page? Our technicals are working hard to solve server problem. And if it is solved, shall our rankings be back? Please advise. Thanks.
