Added Maximum keywords on Moz Pro - Updated our SERP and optimized metas for all our products on Bookscardsnbikes. We are sorting out bad backlinks - and have google ads + and boosting our seo. And yet - no traffic or customers [minimal]

Have been a business for one year.

In short: can you take a look at our moz [Site Audit] and explain what we're missing to get our company off of the ground.

We are more than okay with criticism - it helps us grow.

Our layout and site design is completely fine and what we want.

But we think its just a matter of being a new site that we aren't getting the amount of business we COULD have.

Is the 200$ a month worth it? What is moz doing to help us grow?

      Best.

If you're looking to hire a website developer, here's a general process you might follow:

Define Your Needs: Clearly outline the specific requirements for your website. Determine whether you need a front-end, back-end, or full-stack developer. Detail the technologies, frameworks, and features you require.

Write a Job Description: Create a comprehensive job description that includes the role's responsibilities, required skills (such as programming languages, tools, and platforms), and any qualifications you're seeking.

Post the Job: Advertise the job opening on relevant platforms, such as job boards, company websites, and social media. Ensure your job description highlights the benefits of working with your company.

Review Portfolios and Resumes: As applications come in, review candidates' portfolios and resumes. Look for projects that align with your needs and demonstrate their skills and expertise.

Conduct Interviews: Shortlist candidates and conduct interviews. Ask about their experience, problem-solving abilities, and how they approach different scenarios. Technical interviews or coding challenges can help evaluate their skills.

Assess Cultural Fit: Evaluate candidates' compatibility with your company culture. A good cultural fit can contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Check References: Contact references provided by the candidates to gain insights into their work ethics, collaboration, and professionalism.

Offer and Negotiate: Once you've identified a suitable candidate, extend a job offer. Be prepared to negotiate compensation, benefits, and other terms.

Onboarding: Once the candidate accepts the offer, ensure a smooth onboarding process. Provide necessary access, tools, and training for them to begin their role effectively.

Set Clear Expectations: Clearly communicate expectations, goals, and project timelines to the new developer. Regularly review progress and provide feedback to ensure alignment with your project's objectives.

As of my last update in September 2021, MOZ Pro is a comprehensive SEO (Search Engine Optimization) toolset designed to assist websites, including e-commerce sites, in improving their search engine rankings and overall online visibility. It provides a range of features and functionalities that can positively impact an e-commerce site's rankings. Here are some ways MOZ Pro can help an e-commerce site gain rankings:

Keyword Research: MOZ Pro offers powerful keyword research tools that help identify relevant and high-potential keywords for your e-commerce products or services. By targeting the right keywords, you can optimize your product pages and content to align with user search queries, increasing the chances of ranking higher in search engine results.

Site Audits: The tool allows you to perform site audits, analyzing various aspects of your e-commerce site's on-page and technical SEO. It helps you identify and fix issues like broken links, duplicate content, slow page load times, and other factors that can negatively impact your rankings.

Backlink Analysis: MOZ Pro enables you to assess your e-commerce site's backlink profile. Obtaining high-quality and relevant backlinks from authoritative sources is crucial for improving search engine rankings. The tool helps you identify potential link-building opportunities and evaluate your link-building efforts.

Competitor Analysis: Understanding your competitors' strategies and performance is essential in the competitive e-commerce landscape. MOZ Pro allows you to analyze your competitors' SEO efforts, including their top-performing keywords, backlinks, and overall search visibility. This information can help you refine your own strategies and stay ahead in the rankings race.

Rank Tracking: Keeping track of your e-commerce site's rankings for target keywords is vital to measure the effectiveness of your SEO efforts. MOZ Pro provides rank tracking features that help you monitor your performance over time and adjust your strategy accordingly.

On-Page Optimization: MOZ Pro provides recommendations for on-page optimization, ensuring your product pages and other content are well-optimized for search engines. This includes suggestions for meta tags, headings, content structure, and other important on-page elements.

Local SEO: For e-commerce sites with physical store locations or those targeting specific geographical markets, MOZ Pro offers local SEO tools to enhance visibility in local search results.

Reporting and Insights: MOZ Pro generates comprehensive reports and insights that help you understand the impact of your SEO efforts and present data to stakeholders or clients.

It's important to note that while MOZ Pro is a valuable SEO tool, gaining rankings in search engines is a multifaceted process. Success in SEO requires a combination of various strategies, consistent effort, quality content creation, and staying up-to-date with the latest SEO best practices. MOZ Pro can be an excellent aid in this process, but it should be complemented with a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to your e-commerce site's specific needs and goals.

@bookscards1552 you can use keyword research and find relevant keywords to your niche, then write contents (blog articles) about that keyword, your article must be thorough and written for human to get rankings in search and to boost traffic, initially when we have fresh domain then we try to target low competition keywords which are easy to rank, when your site gain authority then you can switch to moderator level keywords and so on.

moz will help you track your rankings and your journey of getting traffic and monitor it. I hope this may help.

Improving SEO for an e-commerce page with 1 product page

                      keywords blog post e-commerce

I'm trying to improve the SEO for an e-commerce store that I'm working for that sells custom car air fresheners where you select the shape of the item and then upload the photo. The site has been around for almost 10 years so has authority in the field and ranks number one for custom car air fresheners and other related high-traffic keywords. However, there is no blog, no social media and has 8 total pages: landing page, FAQ, contact, guidelines, shape/product (page that starts the ordering process with little text), scents, terms, and samples.
I'm struggling with how we rank higher for specific keywords that we are not number 1 with ok traffic (such as dog air freshener, custom air freshener for car with picture, custom photo car air freshener) and not affect the current keywords that we are ranking number one for. In addition, how do we rank higher for other keywords, if we don't have that many pages like a blog to create content? I was thinking of creating a blog to target more keywords, but I don't think there is enough relevant content to make. And I feel Google would find a blog about "top gifts for dad" or "top gifts for the holidays" not relevant. I was also thinking of adding more text to the shapes/product page which could be tailored towards a keyword. Maybe I could create another product page that goes into more detail about the air freshener with images, descriptions, and other use cases. On MOZ, the Domain Authority is 18 (really low), so I am thinking about working on getting backlinks from relevant sources with authority to improve our SEO. Or do we not mess with the text on the website since it works and not worry about the other keywords and focus on technical SEO items and backlinks to help with SEO? TLDR: How do you improve SEO for new keywords for an e-commerce business that doesn't have a lot of pages for content without affecting its number 1 ranking on other keywords?

Moz Spam Analysis vs. GWMT Links to Your Site

Hi Moz Community, I have been conducting some link auditing and started comparing the Moz Spam Analysis tool with the links provided in Google WMT. It appears that the Moz Spam Analysis tools shows an aggregate of links that Moz may or may not consider spam, however when you download and look at Google's "Links to Your Site" list it provides every link iteration known to man that's pointing to the target website - without providing any hints as to whether or not a link may be considered spam by Google. The biggest concern I have here is that Google is picking up a lot of links, which I consider spam, that do not appear in the Moz Spam Analysis results. I guess the question(s) I have are: Does it make sense to compare these two data sets? Has anyone else tried this comparison and how did you use the information to make positive changes? Any recommendations when it comes to determining if an external link is spam/hurting/helping a website? Thank you!

                      Does crawling help in optimisation.?

the website is as it was last week. no optimisation from my side for 10 days now. i was ranked 5 with my keyword not much competition there. however 2 days ago i registrred at seomoz and created a campaign for my website  with my keywords that were ranked 5 in search. today i see that my rank has gone up to 2. i have nt done any optimisation neither have ii created any backlinks. so how and why did i climb up? i just created a campaign and let seomoz crawl my website for 2days. am i to assume seomoz crawl optimises website? if that is the case then can i create a campaign crawl pages, climb up in searches, delete the campaign after a week, create it again crawl pages and climb up and so on ? please advise?

Why does SEOMoz Pro only do Rankings Once a Week?

Not sure I understand why the SEOMoz PRO report of rankings only occurs once a week? Any ideas?  Seems like it would be easy to just pull that ranking report at any time.

Like in the SEOBook toolbar where you can click the information button and get the number of links to the domain and specific page for .edu and .gov sites. Thanks, Daniel.
