Preparing to connect Facebook
Prior to connecting Facebook to your Moz Local location, there are a few items to check to ensure the process goes smoothly.
Make sure you are using your real, personal Facebook account. You cannot use an account with a fake name, and you cannot use an ads account named after a business. Facebook will consider these accounts to be manufactured (or grey accounts), and there is a good chance they will disable them. If you need more information about grey accounts, you can review Facebook's help documentation.
Make sure you have a Facebook Business page. Please review Facebook's help documentation if you need guidance on how to create a business page.
Make sure you have the appropriate access level to the Facebook Business Page you want to connect to Moz Local. You will need to be an Admin or Editor on the page itself. Please review Facebook's help page if you need more information on setting permissions.
