In this guide, you’ll learn about Insights Dashboard of the Conversations section of the Moz Local platform.
Locating your Conversations Insights dashboard
The Conversations Insights dashboard allows you to quickly see a high-level overview of social engagements across all networks for your locations. This helpful dashboard can be accessed at the account, group, or location level by clicking Conversations > Insights within your account.
Use the drop-downs at the top right to select the Networks, Engagement Types, and Date Range you’d like to see data for.
Metrics summary
The first section of your dashboard will show you a birds-eye view of key metrics.
This includes the following metrics:
New — The number of new engagements are pending a response for the date range and networks selected.
Total Engagements — The total number of engagements (new and previously existing) for the date range and networks selected.
Resolve Rate — The percentage of engagements that have been resolved.
Average Resolve Rate — The average time it has taken to respond to engagements.
Engagements by Status
The Engagements by Status graph displays the volume of engagements by status (new, opened, archived, resolved) over time for the networks, date range, and engagement types you select.
Resolution data
Below the Engagements by Status graph you will see a Resolve Rate Over Time graph and an Average Response Time Over Time graph.
Resolve Rate Over Time
This graph allows you to view the resolution rate over time for the networks, date range, and engagement types you select. You can use this graph to track how effective your team is at resolving open engagements and help you quickly identify areas of improvement or where you’re focusing your time and energy.
Average Resolve Time Over Time
Timeliness and efficiency are extremely important when responding to customers and prospective customers. Review the average resolution time for the networks, dates, and engagements of your choice to identify any areas where your teams can improve.
Engagements by Network
Looking to understand which networks bring in the highest and lowest engagements? The Engagements by Network graph will offer you an overview of where people are engaging with your brand. You can drill down further by filtering the volume of engagements by specific networks, date ranges, and engagement types using the drop-downs at the top right of the page.
Engagements by Type
The Engagements by Type graph will give you a birds-eye view of how people are engaging with your brand over time. It displays the volume of engagements by type (direct messages, comments, mentions, etc.) over time for the networks, date ranges, and engagement types selected.
Trend data
The final section of the dashboard is dedicated to trend data.
Organic vs. Paid Social Engagements
Are you looking to understand whether organic or paid social content is driving more engagement? The Organic vs. Paid Social Engagements chart provides a great overview of the share of organic vs. paid social engagements for the selected networks, date ranges, and engagement types.
Sentiment Over Time
Protect your brand’s reputation by always being aware of the sentiment of your engagements. The Sentiment Over Time graph will allow you to quickly surface overall engagement sentiment over time for the selected networks, date ranges, and engagement types.
Trending Topics
The Trending Topics chart will help you monitor common themes related to your industry. This chart will show topics related to your industry, business, products/services, and competitors so you can always be aware of any areas of concern or opportunities to apply social selling and grow revenue. It displays trending topics and their related sentiment for the selected networks, date ranges, and engagement types.
